The deprecations table lists this snapshot alone, not the gpt-4o alias, which is why this row is the dated snapshot rather than the family. Signal used: OpenAI's own deprecations page, section '2026-04-22: Legacy GPT model snapshots', which states the shutdown date and the recommended replacement as columns of a table. Rates read the same day from developers.openai.com/api/docs/pricing (Standard tier), which still prices deprecated models. Standard-tier rates: input $5.00, output $15.00 per 1M, with no cached-input rate published for this snapshot - twice the input rate the live gpt-4o alias carries on the same table, because the alias moved on to later snapshots that are cheaper. max_output_tokens is null deliberately: developers.openai.com/api/docs/models/gpt-4o publishes 128,000 context window, 16,384 max output tokens and an Oct 01, 2023 knowledge cutoff for GPT-4o as a model, and marks gpt-4o-2024-05-13 as Deprecated in its snapshot list without restating a per-snapshot output cap, so attributing 16,384 to this snapshot would be an inference rather than a reading. The context window and cutoff carried here are that model-level figure. The gpt-4o and gpt-4o-mini aliases are priced by OpenAI, appear in no deprecation table, and are not carried yet. THE DELAY IS OURS, NOT A PROVIDER EVENT: the announcement, the date and the replacement are all OpenAI's, published 2026-04-22; this catalog simply never carried the row.
